I grew up traveling the world as my father was an American diplomat. I was packing a suitcase and getting on planes every two and a half months until the age of 19. To keep our education stable my parents sent us to a boarding school in England, which was in a grand old mansion/castle, Wardour Castle in Wiltshire, where my psychic abilities were activated by various old ghosts that inhabited the building. Our history teacher was also a psychologist and we would report to him all the adventures we got up to at night involving ghosts. He said there was a psychic in the group and he pointed to me.
In my early twenties I moved to the US after living in London for a couple of years and studied art at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. While I was there I started experiencing an intense and troubled spirit/poltergeist that would not let me focus on my studies or sleep. It was disturbing me to say the least so I went to see a psychiatrist to see if he could prescribe me some medication to stop it and make it so I couldn’t hear it. I told him that I thought I was crazy to which he replied, no you are not crazy, you have a sixth sense. He said that it was a gift and that it was given to me to help people. I was surprised to hear this but I wasn’t given a way to stop it, so I packed my things move out of that apartment and it stopped.
I subsequently got married settled down, had two sons and raised them in South Pasadena California. I was mostly a stay at home mother until I let it out to a few friends that I was psychically sensitive. I had always been this way but I never really told anyone as I felt people didn’t believe in such things. As word spread about my psychic skills people started hiring me to do psychic readings to connect with passed loved ones and their spirit guides. Whenever any one came to me I could vividly see their deceased person or spirit guide and I could tell them detailed descriptions about the type of clothes they usually wore, their hairstyles and their general characteristics. I would pass on important messages that helped them alot. When the psychiatrist told me that it is helpful to people I honestly couldn’t see how at that time but now I started to see how much our passed loved ones want to connect with us to help us out. I worked as a psychic helping many people deal with the passing of their cherished loved ones for about 5 years until I discovered Tarot.
I had always had a very close relationship with my grandfather when he was alive and an even closer relationship with him when he moved up into the spirit world. I was with him on his deathbed and I started seeing him almost immediately after he passed in what I then called my psychic space, which I now know is the 5h dimension. I loved my grandfather and loved that I could see him and that he was always with me. I felt safe and protected by him as he was a brave WW2 hero bomber pilot awarded the navy cross.
As time went on my marriage started to disintegrate and the happy domestic life I had try hard to cultivate wasn’t looking like it was going to last. I was turning to my grandfather for advice and he told me I wasn’t going to able to control this and to let it all go.
How I became a Tarot Reader
My grandmother was very psychic too and everyone knew this about her. She called. herself a white witch. She used to read tarot in the war and my grandfather had respect for what she could do. As my life was going through radical changes I wondered if I should try to explore tarot myself. I bought my first deck in 2007 and it didn’t do much for me right away as I was using the celtic cross grid. As I was about to toss the cards aside I heard, channel a grid for you that does work. The first card is the situation the second is what you think about it the third card is what God wants you to think or know about it and the 4th card is the outcome or more on the question. The 5th card is how you feel about it the 6th card is what you think about the way you feel about it and 7th card is what God wants you to think about the way you feel about it. The 11th card in the grid is the head heart aligned advice or the card that will pull you into head heart alignment. This grid worked me instantly, it is what I call a head/heart alignment grid and I use it daily for myself and others to help guide people into aligned actions in my readings.
At first I was just doing readings for myself asking questions such as what to do for a living, on my love life, finances, and what to do with our house etc but within a week of reading for myself I had people coming to me for readings. I did a reading for a friend who was a divorce attorney going through a struggle with her love life and the card read helped her so much she gave me a free divorce. She said it was because of my reading that her relationship worked out and now they are happily married.
I sold my house, moved and went on a prolonged road trip for a while trying to figure out where to live and how to earn a living. I wasnt charging for readings at the time and everywhere I went people would ask me if I had my cards with me or to bring them. I would get calls for readings while driving and I would stop at restaurants to pull cards for people. Often the waitresses would ask me for readings and then they would tell the other waitresses to ask for a reading. A couple of times I didn’t have to pay for my meals.
While I was renting a cabin in the forest in Idaho a handy man came by to work on the place and he has his daugher with him. She must have been about 17 years old. I was out on the deck pulling cards for myself as I alway do each morning and she asked what was I doing. I told her I get higher guidance through the cards and it really helps me. She asked if I would pull some cards for her which I ofcourse did. I told her that she wanted to move out of her family home to move in with her boyfriend and she just about fell of her chair. She was shocked as she said he had never ever told anyone that. The next day she showed up with a car full of teens and she knocked on the door and asked me if I could do for them what I did for her. I said yes to a few of them. The next day she showed up again, this time with a man in his mid 4o’s and she asked me, can you do for him what you did for me. He was very very drunk and drooling almost passing out. I pulled him my head/heart alignment grid and told him, the reason this is upsetting you so much is that she is your true love. When I looked up he was crying, tears hitting the cards and nodding. The teen then thanked me, helped back into the car and drove off. This is when I looked. up at God and said I think this is what I am supposed to do. I then finally realized that this is my true divine calling and my true career.
How I became an Astrologer
About five years later, I was visiting my sister and my mother and aunt were there. I had told them a while ago that I could see grandpa and they didn’t really believe me or know what to say about it. That day my mother and my aunt asked me, what is he saying. For the last year I had been asking my grandfather when would I find my true partner and when would I find my true home and he kept pointing to the stars but I didn’t understand what he meant. He was literally pointing up to the sky at what looked like starts. Whenever I asked him anything he just pointed to the stars and it was frustrating for me as it just didn’t make any sense. Was he telling me it would be at the next meteor shower or on the 4th of July. When I told my mother and my aunt that we was pointing to the stars and I didn’t know why, both their faces dropped in astonishment and they proceeded to tell me that when he flew on his missions in the war he would lead him squadron to battle at night as he could turn off the radar and use the start for navigation. He made my father show him that he could navigate with the stars before he agreed to let him marry my mother. My mother and aunt told me that knowing how to navigate using the stars is the reason he was able to survive the war and bring his squadron home safely. It was then I knew exactly what he was trying to tell me. He was telling me to learn about the stars and then I would know when everything is happening.
It was because of that message from my grandfather that I started to study and practice astrology. I don’t know where I would be today if I didn’t know astrology. It is because of astrology that I have such a stable career and it is because of understanding astrology that I was able to make a wise investment that has made me financially stable. I now teach astrology as well as read charts on a daily basis helping others follow and align with their most abundant path. I thank my grandfather every day for guiding me to learn and how to help myself and others through understanding the stars.
